Breakfast

For breakfast this morning I switched it up and had some fruit/nut manna bread by Natures Path. I spread almond butter on top and had soy yogurt and apple sauce with agave and cinnamon on the side.

And guess what I bought last night! Eat, Drink and Be Vegan! I’m so excited to try the recipes!! Thanks VeggieGirl for the recommendation!

Soba Noodle Salad

For dinner I made this recipe- I basically cut it in half, added carrots, and omitted the cilantro, sesame seeds, green onion and chicken.

I had two organic, vegan “oreos” for dessert w/ unsweetened almond milk. YUM.

Good Night!

New Favorites!

I have some new favorites! I bought a great new dressing (dijion-tarragon) which I had with carrots and celery for a snack.

The veggies didn’t soothe my hunger so I ate lunch shortly after. I had a whole wheat pita with vegan mayo, spinach, more dressing and veganRella! I found a non dairy cheese I like! I microwaved the pita w/ the “cheese” for about 40 sec before adding the spinach and dijion-tarragon dressing. It was really good. I also had cherry tomatoes on the side.

After lunch I felt like I needed something else- I need to make sure I eat enough because breastfeeding burns a lot of calories. Anyways I remember the soy ice cream I bought yesterday! It was turtle trails- I had 1/3 cup.

While shopping (after vaccines) I had a pecan pie larabar. And when I got home I had a glass of hempmilk.

Pokey Pokey

Today is not a good day… I have to take Sienna to get her vaccinations. I HATE doing this- I cry when she cries! At least my breakfast was awesome!!

I started the day with a gala apple.

About an hour later I had cinnamon/raisin Ezekiel cereal with almond milk. OMG soo good. I topped it w/ maple syrup and walnuts. It was a fabulous way to start the day!

Totally Uninspiring

We have no grocery’s… none. Blah. So I had 2 left over salad rolls from last nights Vietnamese food (we ordered in) with peanut sauce. They were OK. I also had an apple.

I just snacked on Ezekiel cereal and hemp milk today…. and carrots. No pictures because it was all over the places.

We wnet grocery shopping, thank God! I bought a carob bar as a treat and it was pretty filling- it ended up being my dinner! I had it with a glass of almond milk. Super low on fruits and veg todaay…. tomorrow I will have to be really good! =)
