Annie- Agave nectar is similar to honey but a bit thinner. Its much sweeter than regular sugar tsp for tsp. Its about 60 cal a tbsp but its so sweet so you don’t need much! About 1/3 cup is comparable is sweetness to 1 cup of white sugar. I have also read that the glycemic index is lower than most natural sweeteners on the market. I personally really enjoy the taste- its not a pungent as honey. Let me know if you try it!

Kath- you have awesome idea's as well! Its one of the reasons I love your blog so much!

Hi. I was just wondering, what is agave nectar. Does it have some nutritional benefits, or do you eat it for taste. Ive heard a lot of people using it, but never known what it was. Thanks!
