Breakfast
For breakfast this morning I switched it up and had some fruit/nut manna bread by Natures Path. I spread almond butter on top and had soy yogurt and apple sauce with agave and cinnamon on the side.
And guess what I bought last night! Eat, Drink and Be Vegan! I’m so excited to try the recipes!! Thanks VeggieGirl for the recommendation!
Sienna matched the cover in her new spring outfit- how cute!

I haven’t tried Manna bread yet, but it looks delicious. It’s definitely on my long list of things to try.
Congrats on getting Eat, Drink and Be Vegan! It was my first Vegan cookbook, and I was so amazed by every single recipe in there, every one I’ve tried has exceeded my expectations.
Soy-yogurt with applesauce… looks intriguing! I too have never had manna bread, but it DOES certainly look worth trying - yum!
I do hope that you enjoy Eat, Drink & Be Vegan - it’s a WONDERFUL, delicious resource!! Sienna could be in an advertisement for it, haha - too cute!! :0)
I tried The Coup the other day…it was amazing to say the VERY least. I defiantly recommend that you give it a try! I went with a friend and we got the Rueben and falafel quesadilla with the soup of the day (hot and sour soup which was the highlight!) We shared, and both were super good, we couldn’t get enough…it’s our new date spot :op! They also have DJ’s on Thur, Fri and Sat if you can ever get away for a date night.
Manna bread is soo good! It so moist- I love it! I’m so excited about ED&BV- it looks like a great book.
Noodle- I’m glad to hear you enjoyed The Coup- i really want to go! When we went to Canmore I looked up vegetarian restaurants. The have one- the Sunfood Cafe (they have one in banff too). We went and it wasn’t really what I excepted so we left! It was super small and the lady who owned it and served was really weird… we ended u going to Quarry instead (which I highly recommend!). Anyways it sounds like The Coup is nothing like that, haha! Thank you for letting me know what you thought of it!

P.S. What a cuite your wee gal is!
That’s cutie, not cuite.
And not to post a bazillion comments or anything, but I just read your profile, and I am currently taking the CSNN Holistic Nutrition course!
I love your pictures. I bought almond butter for the 1st time and am waiting for my PB to run out so I can try it! What is manna bread?
So did you quit blogging?
Emma- so sorry it took so long to reply! I love almond butter- even more so than peanut butter! Manna bread is like a small sprouted grain loaf (by natures path). They have a few different flavors/types. You can find them in the freezer section. Here is a link as well! =)
