Today is not a good day… I have to take Sienna to get her vaccinations. I HATE doing this- I cry when she cries! At least my breakfast was awesome!!
I started the day with a gala apple.

About an hour later I had cinnamon/raisin Ezekiel cereal with almond milk. OMG soo good. I topped it w/ maple syrup and walnuts. It was a fabulous way to start the day!

This morning was kind of crazy- Sienna decided 6 o’clock was a good time to wake up for the day which is usually when I get up anyways but I enjoy having an hour to myself before the day really starts! I really like having a leisurely breakfast- it is my faaavorite meal!
My breakfast was anything but relaxing this morning! Sienna was being a monkey! I ended up having 2 slices of Sesame Ezekiel toast w/ almond butter and homemade (not be me!) raspberry, mango jam. We desperately need to go grocery shopping so I had planned on having some frozen fruit with soy yogurt as well… that didn’t happen until about 2 hrs later. Haha.

The soy yogurt.

I am also sipping on some tea as I type- Sienna just went down for a nap!!

I am so excited it is Friday! We leave for Canmore (couple hrs outside Calgary) today and come back Sunday- my mom is taking Sienna! It’s bitter sweet because I will really miss her but I am also looking forward to a few days where I can just focus on myself! Yay! I hope everyone had a fabulous Valentines day, I got a new iPOD nano! I already have an nano but it is pretty beat up- I was so surprised! Canmore was suppose to be our Valentine’s gift to each other- all I got Darren was a stinky card! haha.
I also wanted to share that I had my first dinning experience out since cutting out animal products. We ended up eating at the food court last night since we were at the mall (I needed a swim suit). We went to Opa’s (a Greek fast food type place) and I ordered a veggie pita wrap with hummus instead of tatziki (which I looove), no feta and no seasoning on the wrap (has Parmesan cheese). I was so proud! It wasn’t that hard either- the bread might have had some milk products in it but over all I think i did a good job! Now onto todays breakfast…
When I woke up I had a pink lady apple.

For breakfast this morning i had Ezekiel cereal w/ soy yogurt. I topped it was gogi berries, udo oil and maple syrup. It looks kind of gross but it was really good!

Sorry for the late post- it seems there is never enough time to do everything I want to do! Sienna is at my mom’s for the day so I went for a 35 minute walk/run outside. It was a little brisk but it was fun to be in the fresh air!
When I woke up I had a tiny pink lady apple.

About an hour later I had a serving of both Ezekiel cereal and smart bran with almond/hempmilk (a bit of both). I topped it with a banana, 1/2 tbsp udo oil, and maple syrup.

For lunch I had leftover vegetarian sloppy joe again on a Ezekiel bun w/ spinach and bruchetta on the side.

I also had a mango!

Snacks
I had a glass of hempmilk with 2 tsp carob powder

Some soy yogurt with sliced almonds and gogi berries

Also another PB cup sandwich and a tall earl grey mistro form starbucks (sorry no picture).
Dinner
For dinner I just made a wrap with red pepper hummus, cucumbers and spinach.

I had snow peas on the side.

I worked out this morning! Unfortunately it was only 20 minutes on the treadmill (all I had time for!) but it felt sooo good. I have 1/2 cup muesli with almond milk for a prework out snack.

I had a repeat breakfast with a few changes this morning-soy yogurt, Ezekiel cereal, frozen defrosted raspberries and 1/2 banana.

Today is a busy, busy day! Sienna has a doctor’s appointment and Gymboree. I’m going to have to squeeze in a shower at some point before we before we head out- easier said than done!
