I don’t know if anyone even checks my blog anymore (haha) but I wanted to let you all know that I’m around- just busy!! I still lurk on other blog but I felt like I needed a big break from my own. I hope to get back into it soon! I really do love the blogging community :-). Sienna is almost 8 months old now! I can’t believe how time fly’s- her latest accomplishments include standing on her own for a few seconds, waving, clapping, and crawling up stairs!

You will have to forgive me yet again for my not so great blogging lately. I needed a bit of a break and I couldn’t even post to say that! haha. :-l
I haven’t been taking too many pictures either but I do have one of the awesome muffins I baked a few days ago. Zucchini Spelt from ED&BV- they were really more like banana muffins and they were super moist and delicious!

I also made some more Super Charge Me Cookies with goji berries, pumpkin seeds and carob chips (no pic).
I have been having a lot of smoothies lately- mango and spinach seem to be in a lot of them. I just love smoothies!

And THIS is why I have been so busy…

Sienna is now REALLY crawling and pulling up on everything. Lots of bumps on the head! She’s lucky she’s so cute…

For dinner I made this recipe- I basically cut it in half, added carrots, and omitted the cilantro, sesame seeds, green onion and chicken.

I had two organic, vegan “oreos” for dessert w/ unsweetened almond milk. YUM.

Good Night!

I have been such a terrible blogger- I’ll be back at it tomorrow! I forgot my camera at home when we went to canmore so I don’t have any pictures… boo! It was a lot of fun- it went by too fast! We ate out for a lot but I did pretty good. I did end up having some animal products but overall I was conscience of my intake and I feel I did pretty good! We made our own pizza’s on Saturday night using premade organic pizza crust. I made a vegan one and it was a total bust… the cheese didn’t melt and tasted weird (they don’t sell “follow your heart” here!) AND the crust burnt. I ended up having to eat a piece of the “real” pizza- at least it had organic cheese! I also brought lara bars and soy milk juice boxes and ate that for snacks. Today was a holiday (Family Day) and I had a lot of things to do around the house so the blog got pushed aside…! See you in the morning!!
