Monday, Monday
For lunch today I had soup and a sandwich… again! I have a box of butternut squash and tomato soup that need eating so you’ll see lots of soup!
I had a veggie sandwich with cuc + lettuce + red pepper hummus . I also had a carrot and some snap peas on the side.
My soup of choice was butternut!
I also had a Nature’s Path ginger cookie.
After Sienna and I got home from Gymboree I was starving! So I had a small blood orange and plain yogurt w/ gogi berries and Ezekiel cereal.

I’m aware of the health benefits of goji berries..but have yet to try them. What exactly do they taste like? do they add a lot to yogurt? or are you eating them for nutritional bang??
either way, you’re yogurt looks exactly like the snack i’m craving, YUM!
hk- I started eating gogi berries for the health benefits but I actually DO like them. They are slightly sweet and crunchy when cold and sweeter and soft/chewy when warmed up (really good i oatmeal). Its too bad they are expensive! I would eat eat more if I could afford too! You should defiantly try them.
Wow, Brianne–Can I just tell you how much I LOVE your new blog? I will be reading more of this….thanks!
Oh, and one more thing! I was looking back over your previous posts and it seems to drink “hemp milk” a lot. I’m not familiar with hemp milk (never even seen it actually) and was wondering if you could tell me a little about it and why you prefer to it cow and soy milk? I’m always looking to try new things and this one sounds interesting!
Thanks, Dianne!

Oops–I dont know why it posted twice!
Hey Jenna! Thanks for checking out my blog. I just recently jumped on the Hemp Milk band wagon- its just a cornucopia of awesomeness! It is a little more money than soymilk (you can find hemp milk with all the boxed milks) but its a nice change! The nutritional profile is impressive- it has protein, a bit of fiber, vitamins, minerals and omega 3’s! I use Living Harvest- it is defiantly a different taste but I recommend trying it. I really like trying new things so basically that’s why I bought it (and hemp is such a super food!). I’m also trying to drink less milk… since I started breastfeeding it seems weird to me (even though I still eat plain yogurt!)! I hope you give it a try!
