New Begininng

Sorry I didn’t post at all this weekend- it was so busy and Sienna was being really needy… blogging was the last thing on my mind! This is however, an endeavor I wish to continue so please stick around! I really enjoy being able to see everything I eat even after I ate it. It really helps with accountability. Anyway I DID take pictures of my breakfast at Diner Deluxe (on Saturday)! I ended up getting the grapefruit with rosemary syrup and 2 poached eggs with a buckwheat/muesli pancake instead of toast and hash browns. I used all of the butternut squash puree and a bit of maple syrup (no butter) and it was delish! I also had the peach/apricot black tea with a bit of cream.

Now on to today! This morning I had a 1/4 cup Ezekiel almond cereal with a bit of hemp milk when I got up.

A couple hours later I made a batch of steel cut oats for breakfast. I ate about 3/4 cup cooked oats and topped it with flax + walnuts + banana + PB.

On the side I had a mug of berry black tea w/ a splash of milk.

    Bev- I don’t make my own hummus but I have always wanted to! I just got a great immersion blender so I will for sure have to make some! I bought the Hummus from my local health food store, Planet Organic. It sure was yummy!
