Recently I've been eating S0 much less meat in general and I didn't even realize it! Aaannnyyywayyy, I was wondering if you would mind posting the recipe for the vegan lentil loaf...it looks DEEEELISH! The fact that you can put ketchup on it proves that it's dynamite...but then again, at least in my world, Ketchup goes with EVERYTHING! Happy Tasting =]

Caryee- I've decided to give up dairy for preference reasons- the more I read about dairy the less appetizing it is. Humans aren't meant to drink cows milk (obviously is is for calves) and the dairy industry really disturbs me (injects hormones, antibiotics, keeping cows pregnant for their whole lives..). They also make is sound like we *need* dairy to survive.. we don't. Me and Darren do buy milk, eggs, cheese but it is all organic. I just wanted to see if it made me feel any different when I don't consume dairy. Its just an experiment really, and I probably wont be totally perfect but it makes sense to me not to have dairy in my diet- it is just difficult to do when it is the normal way to eat! At the very least I'm going to try and reduce to amount I consume. =)

Hi Brianne!

I was just wondering if I missed this..but why have you decided to give up dairy? If this is a personal question, I apologize and you don't have to answer. I was just curious if it was for medical, digestive, or preference reasons.

Red Ruby Vegan- I could buy sooo much more if I had the money to do it... I'm jealous of people that can buy anything and everything! We don't always spend that much but it is so fun when we do! I really like butter beans... they have a really mild taste, you must try them! Did you see I made your oatmeal "rice" pudding? It was really good!

Wow, what a grocery load! I am beyond jealous. Your open face sandwich is really creative and delicious-sounding - I really need to try butter beans for the first time.
