Blah!
Sorry I am only posting now- it has been a weird day. I really haven’t had any time to use the computer!
For breakfast I had the last of my pre made steel cut oats. I topped it with banana, flax, PB and a bit of maple syrup.
I had mango and Ezekiel cereal with almond milk for lunch! I know lame (no veggies!)- I had to leave soon to meet my mom at the mall and cereal is so easy (this stuff is sooo filling). I also had almost 2 servings so it has defiantly kept me full!
I also had a tall iced green tea from starbucks at the mall and some of my mom’s low-fat lemon poppy seed muffin. I didn’t have the camera so no photo( I wasn’t planning on getting anything but it was her treat)!
Blah, what a day. See you for Dinner!

Love that Mango
We had the exact same breakfast this morning!
Anyway…..kind of a random question, but I was just wondering….has your boyfriend always been a healthy eater or have you altered his eating habits a bit? my boyfriend and i have absolutely opposite eating habits as he doesn’t eat breakfast and then eats about two huge meals a day (usually takeout)…..i have been cooking for him as much as i can and making easy changes like white bread to wheat bread, veggies in pasta sauces, etc. Just wanted to get your take (or anyone else’s!) on it!
Sorry your day was “weird”! I hate days like that…its just like everything feels so…..odd. Hopefully you will have a better day today!
Granola for lunch looks delish…who says you can’t have cereal for meals other than breakfast?
I always love the presentation of your oatmeal breakfast - so scrumptious and tantalizing!! and I too love mango (as you know, since I have it in my daily smoothie, haha)
aww, I hope your day got better, and that today is better as well (after all, it IS Friday! whoo hoo!)
Brit- luckily Darren isn’t too picky. He lets me do our weekly shop at Planet organic and he like vegetables and fruit (he will even eat sprouted grain bread!). But I have defiantly influenced his eating habits- he used to eat out all the time, never ate breakfast and the bulk of his diet was booze (typical guy diet)! Of course having a baby has curbed most of those habits and having only healthy food at home helps as well. Sometimes I wish he cared a little more about his own health but he is really supportive of my passion for healthy food and and that is more than I can ask for!
Jenna- I think today will be better. I love having cereal for lunch and dinner… its almost taboo!
VeggieGirl- The funny thing is I don’t even try to make my oatmeal looks good… it just does! Yay for Friday!
